the only translation going on in my Postfix setup is as below. This works
for everything else and has for over a year. But anything is possible I
supposed. But even this translation does not match up with what I am seeing.

administrator@ansible:~$ cat /etc/postfix/generic

@ansible  [email protected]

@ansible.everythingshouldbevirtual.local
[email protected]
