Hello ! Thanks for your reply !! These is really very good news !! ++mabra From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Daniel Lo Nigro Sent: Monday, September 17, 2012 1:48 AM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Mono-list] Mono libs and linux desktops I believe you can use GTK (and hence GTK#) under XFCE or KDE; they're not restricted to Gnome. For a native-looking application under KDE, you'd use Qt. There's a .NET library for Qt called Qyoto <http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Languages/Qyoto> but I've never tried it before. Here is a tutorial that might help: http://zetcode.com/gui/csharpqyoto/ On Mon, Sep 17, 2012 at 9:07 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: Hi !
Sorry, as a long-term Windows users, my linux - especially the dektop knowledge - is small. I am currently faced with the situation to make an UI program for linux and I am looking for non-gnome-able libs. Thats - I migrated a debian squeeze to wheezy yesterday and now, I understand the whole debate: The new Gnome is pure idiotie and I am looking for alternates, like xcfe or KDE, but which to know, if there are mono libs for one of these two. Just a tip would be great! Thanks a lot, ++mabra [Re-send, does not appear] _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
