It would be nice if Xamarin took a bit more pity on open source developers and hobby developers. I've been using a business version, at work, for Xamarin.iOS. I would like to explore other platforms, continuing to educate myself, and maybe work on some open source stuff. Even the indie licenses are pretty steep for non-commercial development. At the least it'd be nice if you had access to all platforms for non-commercial use when you purchased a license for commercial use on anything.
