Well, it tells me whats new and changed, which is useful, but I've never liked integrated source control - maybe I was tainted by Delphi and Visual Studio's broken implementations. I should try MD's version. IntelliJ IDEA etc do it the same as MonoDevelop, and last time I tried, they rocked.
