Actually there is/was a bug loosely related to this, but it has been fixed in MonoDevelop 3.0.2: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5084 (and https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5123).
Notice that it took ~ 2 days since I reported it to the time it was fixed, and about 2 weeks from the time I reported it to the time I downloaded MonoDevelop 3.0.2.
