@Rajeev - I do mean the IE6 suck ass need for on the fly PNG replacement.
I haven't checked out CNET's but mine is based off of Tobius's from the old forum. It does anything with a src$=.png (so images and inputs), inline CSS, external CSS (except I recently discovered if you do an external CSS with @import it won't traverse to those style sheets). It also does background positioning, but not repeatable bacgrounds, and I don't know if that'd account for all cases.
