I mainly build it for the sake of it, as it helped me to learn more mootools and I thought I could help some people... it's definitely not the nicest code, but it "gives" the "old" 1.1 feeling for getting the demo code (I believe it's way more convenient) I say on the first page, that most of the demos are just plain copies from the official demo page... I just wanted to stay "compatible" so I can get the new demos easily if they are added to the official demo page, and I could easily provide new demos...
