Please do not go too much in-depth with all this yet, at the current stage I'm confident there won't be a finalised website in two weeks. We are still just exploring and looking for the right direction and gathering ideas. Actual implementations (let alone platform or "CMS" decisions) are not even point of discussion yet.
Meanwhile a small word of concern regarding the design, as Valerio has mentioned (see https://github.com/mootools/website/wiki/MooTools.net-redesign ), what we're looking for is a rather light design, a lot of whitespace and clarity. While I think your designs are rather nice in general, they don't seem to follow that principle as much as the other mockups in the Wiki do. There is some discussion and collaboration regarding the layout aspects taking place in IRC (#mootools on Freeenode, or irc://chat.freenode.net:6667/mootools ). You can use your favourite IRC client, or https://webchat.freenode.net/ if you'd like to join. Feel free to ping Timmeh or arian (or just ask in general) in that channel if you'd like a quick update, when someone is around they'll poke you back, I'm sure. (This goes for everyone, but it'd be especially nice to see Benjamin there. :-) ) Furthermore, there hasn't be a lot of activity on the mailing list regarding the redesign, since we try to collect the different ideas and remarks in the Github wiki, feel free to add your own ideas as well: https://github.com/mootools/website/wiki/_pages .
