Hi Guys,
I am so pissed off right now, I could spit!! That
takes a lot for me. I am phone bidding on 6 items in today's Heritage
Auction. I was called before noon for the first item that I was bidding on that
was in the first ten auctions of the day. They were having some phone problems,
got it fixed quickly and the auction was underway. When I hung up with the girl
that was calling me she said she would be calling me back for two more auctions
I had coming up in about an hour and a half. When I didn't hear from anyone in
two hours, I called Heritage was informed that part of the auction was over. So,
no one called me for two of the posters I wanted to bid on, one of which is a
poster I have been trying to replace for a customer for 2 years because it was
one of the posters that Joe Hernandez stole from me, Sergeant York. This exact
thing happened to me two Heritage auctions ago when they skipped right over
calling me on another auction. Apologies are great, but they don't solve the
problem. Not only did they skip one of my items this time, but two of my items.
It is so aggravating because you get the catalog, see an item you would like,
set it all up, anticipate the day, geez I already had it framed on my wall in my
mind, then bam......big letdown. As a dealer I want to help promote these
auctions, but find it hard to do so when this kind of administrative problem
exists.
