Ok ok ok. I have to jump in
here. And I don't want to be negative........but, this is one
auction. In the reactions to this auction people have indicated what many
of the same posters are selling for elsewhere.....for fractions.
I mean, I want it to bounce back. But
I am having a hard time thinking that it is here just yet. Was it not just
a couple of months ago that all of us were on here saying that the hobby was
dead? Including Bruce.
I say, walk softly and carry a big bank
roll.

I cannot agree more on most raised items. Bruce auction results are just
amazing. I bid on several pieces. I bid way above I would ever dream of
bidding myself and guess what I lost all of my items. BUT REMEMBER, I was
bidding at least 30% higher than all of these items sold for EVER. I am also
in shock. We are on a ride, going way up. We have been down a couple of years
but this is a recovery similar to the stock market or economy. A Tarantula
half sheet sells for more than $1,500? Just one example of many. The Cat
People going way up? The Body Snatcher and I walked with a Zombie for such
high prices??? Mopo gang, this is incredible. I did not even see all results.
I will be working on achieved results for days. Bruce has ONCE again, like the
KING, put up an amazing auction. Just the volume makes me dizzy. JUST DIZZY.
This is hard work guys, even with many people involved. Another round tonight.
Lets see what happens but I have a feeling it will be fierce. I was prepared
to bid higher than usual but I was outbid on everything last night !!!! I am
NOT a bottom fisher, I have become selective and what do I get? I was bidding
way above any normal thinking and STILL I am dead in the water. Just DEAD.
Losing Losing Losing. It was not a pretty picture for me yesterday. If this
goes on and I KNOW IT WILL, all the big auction houses will jump again on the
bandwagon and I REALLY hope they do, we will see a lot more great stuff
available. Our hobby is alive as never before for a long time. It is like the
economy, or better the stock market, goes up and down depending on supply and
demand.
Anyhow, lets talk more about this. I would love to hear everyone talk
about this. David, please talk !!!! HA HA HA. I know, we communicated.
