Yes, Sean is correct.
It's also pretty easy to see the difference between a machine folded
insert/ HS and a hand folded one.
There was also a logic to folding by NSS or exchanges. One sheets,
Inserts and half sheets with their standard folds, folded down to the
same size as a set of lobby cards, so a theatre could be sent one
package that had several of each size in the one package as well as sets
of lobby cards.
I'll also add that a fold in a poster that is a standard fold for that
size poster is not a "defect".
