My Dear Saul   As usual when you cannot logically reply to an email in which a very simple analogy was posed you reply by saying you know everything and the other person does not know what they are talking about.   I happen to represent one of the largest private collectors in the world.  Two of his paintings sold set records years ago selling for $79 and $82.5 million at auction in New York City.  In addition, my wife an I are art collectors and just for your information buying a painting for 7 figures is something my wife and I can afford.  We have spent many hours walking the art galleries in New York City and buying art for our home.   I posed a situation where the poster and the painting were worth identical sums so please lets get that straight.   I believe the question I raised was written in simple language where a PHD was unnecessary for a person to comprehend what I was saying.  Please speak in logic and not use inane language and show us how you were able to get an advanced degree.   CJL.
