I used to be so efficient: money would come in, I would leave positive feedback, and ship the item all in one big flurry of activity. Then some goofball left a neg to the effect that the item was in horrible shape...which, of course, was false. By the time I wasted hours with the guy straightening it out....he finally agreed to a mutual withdrawl....I was furious. So now I wait until I receive feedback and then leave mine in return. Who cares if this results in my feedback numbers being low, or if I ever attain eBay super stardom! I just want to make an honest sale of a good quality item as described and get on with it.
Recently another kook was angry and rude that I sent him a payment reminder at almost 10 days with no payment. So he said that he was sending payment and he was not going to bother bidding on my other items that he liked. Good. Go away.
Boy there are a lot of nuts out there.

Michael,Yes, feedback rules and procedures on eBay should be changed, the system has been badly broken for a long time now... there was a lot of talk about doing just that on eBay years ago... but nothing ever came of it.I think the most absurd feedback I have ever seen is when a seller posts a negative that says "buyer never paid" -- and then the deadbeat leaves negative feedback saying that "Seller never sent item".On MoviePosterBid.com from the beginning we instituted a strong feedback resolution process and (as far as I ever heard) never had a single feedback problem or dispute among our buyers and sellers as a result. Very simply, the policy was that if either party challenged the feedback that the feedback would be IMMEDIATELY removed while the matter was investigated. Upon completion of hearing both sides, the administrator could then reinstate the original feedback or some modified version of it or else leave it deleted. I would think Rich would want to keep the same policy in effect, but I don't think he's made a public statement to that effect yet.By the way, AOL is still bouncing any emails I send directly to your AOL address.-- JRVisit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
