certainly you should check out PLAY IT AGAIN SAM, he has some Bogart three sheets hanging on his walls in BICYCLE THIEF the hero is posting Italian four sheets for GILDA all over the walls of Rome. In Godard's contempt, the hero walks by a wall (again in Rome) plastered with Italian  posters for RIO BRAVO and Rossellini's VANINA VANINI.
