Michael,

Well, I've heard a few rumors, any of which may be true.  First, I heard that he was doing catalog sales out of his house.  With his impressive inventory, he could have been doing that for a good decade.  Then I heard that he got married, which was from a pretty reliable source if memory serves.  I have no idea if that meant he liquidated his business or he's still doing it.  I think he is still located in Denver, but my last info was about a year and a half to two years ago.  Just looked in the whitepages.com and dexonline, no Carterton listed in Denver.  That probably doesn't mean much, as I think he had an unlisted #.

Cinemagraphics is still in town, but is mainly a framing shop, and doesn't have too many movie posters left - they started carrying reprints a while ago to keep business coming in the door.  Bruce sold the name, don't know to whom, and then started doing the sales out of his home.  I think he switched his name to Cinema Graphics vs. all one word. Sorry, that's the best I can do.

Hope this helps.  My name is Steve, I'm another dealer in Denver.  I bought my first poster from Bruce when he had his shop on Broadway. You can say he got me going on this wacky hobby. Did some work for him too, all my paychecks went to posters :)

If you wanted to talk shop, give me a call too if you're interested.  I'll be around this weekend.

Best regards,

Steve Zammar

Hi all,
I'm going to Denver this weekend and hoped to meet up with Bruce Carteron,
but I learned that he had sold CinemaGraphics some time ago.  Anyone know if he
is still in Colorado?
