Michael,

Did you ever stop to think this could all be your fault for not interpreting the description properly? Clearly the seller meant "minimal restoration at the fold lines *and* extending out from there to include major overpainting of the rest of the poster."  I mean, paint or printer's ink, what's the difference so long as it looks good? Quit being so obsessive... don't you know you're holding back Movie Poster Collecting from becoming a respectable hobby like... *comic books*?!

Have a little consideration for our community and stop harassing the poor sellers who are only trying to provide an artistic and educational experience to the culturally-deprived masses on eBay. Besides, linen is organic and environmentally-friendly.

Subject: [MOPO] definition of an ebay fool*

i define an ebay fool*    (*plug in your own word---this is a mixed audience)    as someone who buys a poster described as "VERY GOOD CONDITION" with minimal touch-up at the fold lines and has the seller confirm this in an email before he bids, and then keeps the poster when it arrives after seeing that the "minor touch-up" was actually major restoration.

....so, right now, i await the UPS pickup to retrieve this oil painting, and it is being returned via UPS NEXT DAY AIR to this honorable seller....who has already agreed to a full refund and postage both ways. So this seller will eat about $25/$30 in shipping. And, he better not re-list it without FULL DISCLOSURE.......   i watch ebay!!!!

...perhaps, more info by me to come about this well known seller.

the unscrupulous sellers, although they are profit-driven, don't consider the great disappointment they cause.  obviously, they don't care.

WARNING WARNING WARNING:   NEVER BUY A POSTER ON THE INTERNET THAT IS DESCRIBED AS LINEN WITH RESTORATION (but of course, there are the exceptional, honorable sellers, like bruce and me!!!!!)
