Morning everyone,
Considering no one bothered to reply to my last question of whether there
are any reprinted Australian Daybills, I thought I would ask another
question.
I am curious to hear your thoughts on the collectibility of Australian
Daybills - how desirable are they and for which titles in particular. Being
mostly an insert collector myself, I really like how the more desirable U.S.
one-sheet images are used for the 13x30 daybills such as the Brando
red-silouette international image used for the The Godfather, the German
Amsel image used for Chinatown, the chase image from Butch Cassidy, the Peel
art from Taxi Driver, etc. I suppose the only down-side is the poor print
and paper quality when compared to the U.S. material.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
Mike
