Hi guys -
I ran the Fox Archives for 10 years and never got wind of anything like
this.
It would have qualified as Holy Grail material.
There was bit of footage and there were a few frames of still images -
that's about all that ever surfaced from this film on my watch.
Whoever put the piece together did a good job of capturing period and
style -
However, I don't think Fox would have thrown the switch on the lobby
set until the film was at least nearly finished and close to all
photography in hand to choose from. Not sure there would have been a
rush. Also note there is no key art or stylized logo treatment -
another sign against this coming through Fox Marketing. You would
expect a Monroe image from the film as a repeated element for the
advertising campaign.
But heck - I've been wrong before.
I sure would like to feel the paper - probably good make a much better
appraisal that way.

Yes, I was trying to think what this reminded me of, and it's
MARILYN! PHO-NEE, I would say, as I've never ever
seen anything else on this title. Still, strange things happen, and
if there ever were cards on this film that were
completed by Fox, they would have been in L.A. I would think. The
font looks not right however. Seems very
unlikely.

It almost looks like the artwork from the movie "Marilyn" that Rock
Hudson narrated with the round colored circles going up the left side
of the card. Hey, it would almost be worth $10.01 just to see what it
is, except the auction was ended early. Nice looking layout though.

I couldn't use that link to see the auctions
but that film was never completed and only a few scenes were shot
before MM died
definite scam
