Remembering Betty Hutton: 1921-2007I agree totally with you Dave. She was a pistol in a business where you were suppose to keep your mouth shut. She was loaded with talent and unfortunately, for us, retired to soon. While I am a huge Judy Garland fan, I think Betty Hutton turned out to be a much better choice for Annie. Annie Get Your Gun is still one of my favorite musicals and that's coming from a die hard MGM musicals fan.
