There are some reissues that are more costly than the originals. The Asphalt Jungle comes to mind since the reissue has Marilyn on it. The original is somewhat lackluster anyway. There are also some reissues that have nicer layouts than the originals. Of course, I can't think of one while I'm sitting here (brain freeze and the fact that I'm getting old!). I do own that Casablanca reissue that Michael spoke of, kind of a red duotone. I like it and since I didn't have the sense to buy Casablanca for $50 thirty years ago (I wanted It's a Wonderful Life more at the time, probably still would), my reissue will have to do!!
