It has come time for me to decide if I can get away from all I have going on
long enough to attend the auction at Cinevent, and a big factor in my
decision is getting to see old friends there. I have to travel 12 hours each
way to be there for 36 hours, and I much prefer doing so if I know a bunch
of people who will be there.
So, if you don't mind indulging me, who here is going to be there?
I have been to maybe 15 of them in the past 25 years and I feel certain it
is the most enjoyable and best attended show, so if any of you were thinking
of going, I very much vote in favor of doing so! I have always come back
with some good to great buys, some rarities I have never seen elsewhere, and
some memories of enjoyable conversations and meals with friends.
