I have done this sort of arrangement in the manner you described with a few clients I know and trust. They have usually worked out just fine, sometimes holding the items for over a year. (Once a buyer can't his mind after a very long time and I was not happy but gave the buyer his deposit back.) Just check the dealer's Ebay rating and feedback and be sure you can trust the dealer to be honest. FRANC
