I have done this sort of arrangement in the manner you described with a
few clients I know and trust. They have usually worked out just fine,
sometimes holding the items for over a year. (Once a buyer can't his
mind after a very long time and I was not happy but gave the buyer his
deposit back.) Just check the dealer's Ebay rating and feedback and be
sure you can trust the dealer to be honest. FRANC

Subject: [MOPO] Delayed Payment Transactions???

I wanted to ask a question of the group who are largely composed of
dealers.

I am interested in buying an original poster from Spain but I can't
afford to make the purchase all at one time. I wanted to use the time
payment method. A deposit and then about three payments to pay the
poster off. The dealer would only ship the poster when the entire funds
are received. Is this common among dealers to do or allow this type of a
transaction? The poster I am interested in is one I have searched for
for a very long time. With the way the economy is this is the ONLY way I
can make the purchase by time payment. I thought maybe the price was
negotiable but the dealer feels the price is ok.

Anyway, I thought I would ask if this method of payment is done much or?

Thanks!
