I can't remember where I read it a week or so ago, but one news columnist mentioned that too many people are "trying to win an argument" over politics even to the point of fabricating or twisting truth to prop up one's argument. He went on to say that it is better to be "smart" and try to keep intelligent discourse. No one is trying to win in a discussion if they are smart.. And they let the robber barons on Wall Street loot the country for 7 years, and then, when those fools managed to bankrupt themselves, they go along with the insane plan of bailing them out with OUR money!
