As Bruce pointed out in his club message -- the first occurrence was at the Liverpool Street tube station in London on 15 January 2009. Unlike the Belgium "stunt" -- which stuck to one song from the "Sound of Music" -- the London stunt featured a montage of 8 tracks/songs covering every genre, from waltzes to techno-pop to old fashioned rock-and-roll. Personally I like the Sound of Music version better.
