I think one issue is whether or not the person puts FA at the start of the post, but another is the frequency of the posts.
I post once when I add both sets of auctions, and then two more e-mails total (one each before each set of auctions end), so three FA e-mails per week (and that's for 2,000 items). For me personally, those people who post near daily are counter-productive for I them start deleting their posts without looking at them, but of course that's just me (and there may well be many people who delete MY e-mails unread!). To me, many e-mails are intended to be discarded, and that is why God (or Bill Gates) made a "DELETE" key, and I use mine regularly, and I advise everyone on MOPO to become familiar with theirs. This issue comes up regularly over the years. To me, the joy of MOPO is the spontaneous interesting discussions that regularly occur (sometimes "on-topic", sometimes wildly "off-topic". If I have to slog through a few hundred FA e-mails between each discussion, so be it. Incidentally, I personally did not think my opening of a discussion on three-sheets and six-sheets, and why so many people refuse to collect them was self-serving. It seems to me to be poor advertising to say that lots of people don't collect some sizes as a way to get others to bid (just as it seems to me to be poor advertising to say that prices on once-popular stars are in the toilet as a way to get people to bid on those stars). The bottom line is that the items sell themselves. If you have good items at fair opening bids, with honest grading and clear unenhanced images, and if you pack well and don't gouge on shipping, your items will sell for at least a fair price. To me, I think it is clear that eBay has done everything they can to run off collectible sellers and buyers (while letting those who sell repros as originals run rampant), but that is a discussion for another day.
