Hi Joe,
Where I live, people in rotten cars do that all the time so they can
sue. It's practically a way of life for them. While you're driving,
you have to look out not to drive behind those types because they'll
jam on their brakes to get you to slam into them! So we have texters,
who should be ticketed imo, and evil drivers who just want anyone to
sue for free bucks (for all those who do that on purpose, may their
neck/back/whatever never stop throbbing) and road ragers who are just
p.o.s.'s who should never have been born to begin with.

I agree. I got rear-ended by a guy texting. He was such a jerk
too. The collision caused my head to bang against the headrest and I
was very nauseous. He had the nerve to say I was faking. I was at
a complete stop. I could see him texting through my rear view
mirror and I honked but he didn't even look up.

all you need for proof of that are 3 passenger train collisions in
the past year

I once saw a guy driving a car next to me holding a cell phone
between his ear and left shoulder, while he was holding a milkshake
in his right hand and in the left hand a burger holding the steering
wheel with just his left pinky. I'll bet he could drive better than
someone who is texting
