Hey Kerry and all, I know what you are saying about the mat covering the copyright info. However, I do have many customers, even though I suggest otherwise, who mat over the writing at the bottom of the poster preferring to see the artwork only. Are they items on Ebay or through a private collectors? I would want to to know the return policy. If they are originals, the framing may be low quality and actually degrading the posters, so asking to buy them "unframed" might be an idea and at that point the seller could take more accurate measurements of the actual unframed posters. It's a tough situation when you can't actually see them yourself before you buy and have to rely on pictures and someone's word. That's how it is sometimes and the price may be a good one to take the chance if there is a reputable return policy. Just remember, shipping them framed is more expensive and higher risk of damage. If they turn out to be repros, shipping them back will be costly. Good luck to your friend.

To: [email protected] hello mopo'ers, i was trying to help a friend out who was looking at these framed posters (half sheets are 2, and the other appears to be a one sheet but have no size reference). i told my friend that the red flag on the 2 of them (RIDE RYDER RIDE and SANDFLOW) is that they have been framed and matted, with the matte covering the printer's info, as the matte comes right to the edge of the artwork. Also, the Buck Jones piece just looks VERY new, to me. The VIRGINIA CITY, tho looks like it could be legit.
