Kerry,
Only one thing to do here -- make the seller take the posters out of the
frame and send a picture of a close-up of the bottom margin to see what
it says. Besides, the seller is going to have to take them out of the
frames anyway -- you definitely would *not* want them shipping in the
frames. It would be too expensive and the chance that the
glass/Plexiglases would be broken and damage the poster would be too high.
Tell him to dump the frames and get back to you, otherwise take a pass
-- unless you want the frames, in which case you *still* have to insist
that he pull the posters out of the frames and show you what the bottom
margin says. Then have him ship you the posters in sturdy tube and ship
the frames in a separate, very sturdy package (carefully padded) and you
put the posters back in the frames once you get them.

hello mopo'ers,
i was trying to help a friend out who was looking at these framed
posters (half sheets are 2, and the other appears to be a one sheet
but have no size reference).
i told my friend that the red flag on the 2 of them (RIDE RYDER RIDE
and SANDFLOW) is that they have been framed and matted, with the matte
covering the printer's info, as the matte comes right to the edge of
the artwork. Also, the Buck Jones piece just looks VERY new, to me.
The VIRGINIA CITY, tho looks like it could be legit.
Anyhow... i thought i would post the images here, and ask for any
thoughts or opinions. i know it's hard based solely on a photo, but
it's a start.
thanks.
