While I may have originally been a bit taken aback by the Navi (those blue characters) the world Cameron has placed them in has me completely intrigued. And the animal creatures I thought looked really great. Remember, Yoda originally looked a little silly, ET looked like a mutant turtle in search of a shell, the prawns in DISTRICT 9 looked truly derivative, and specific to Cameron, literally days before the exhibitor screenings of TITANIC no less than the NY Times and Time Magazine were predicting a cinematic sinking the likes never seen in history.
