so I have been getting unbelievable orders from Austrailia this month
and I dont know why.....
I thought maybe its because I am part british as My family was from
Bermuda......
then I thought... maybe they are just into my stuff........ so I get a
email .... I sent a Megaphone and they didnt get it
so I said ok well ill look up via USPS/// It said Delivered.... they
email back.... Never got it.... so I actually contacted AUSTRAILIAN
POST... they say you need to start investigation from USA side...
Now the megaphone was only 24.00 it cost 31.95 to ship...... so I start
this banter with the USA and Austrailian post saying could someone
PLEASE tell us where it was delivered.. ? Its simple ask the driver and
Post office
where they put it!!!
so I kept calling the Austrailian Post office ROSE as we were emailing
back and forth.... then I get email addressed to TIM ninstead of TOM...
then I see It was ROSS not ROSE that was emailing me from Austrailian
Post.....( I made a great Impression on the Aussie Im suer:)
Finally I say to customer I will give You a FREE megaphone replacement
if you pay shipping.... so another
37.00 for EXPRESS mail so she can sign for it although the priority had
signature also they just wont tell
us for 30 days after the INVESTIGatio ,, then 30 to get a refund......
OK????? well so after all this.. se says well its for a Childrens TV
show..... I sad Ohhh I love Kids and tv shows.. what is it?
she didnt say.... she said my credit card is ... SEVEN Network.......
then I attempted to send the tracking and I get a Out of office reply
" the Disney Childrens show is on Break will be back on Jan 10 "
So guess they need a megaphone for the kids show,,, awesome.. I have
seen my clapboard on Netflix recently
its cool to see these items show up in commercials and stuff...
So..... I sent her the Megaphone along with a Hollywood Dream Factory®
Movie reel clock we made for Walt Disney studios in the 80s with Micky
Mouse on the front face.....
true story and the kind of stuff that happens here all the
time...recently soem folks in England sent a clock for repair we did in
1989 for Ghostbusters 2.. they mailed it to and from us... it was over
60.00 shipping!!!
I repair them free because I use quality parts that rarely break... and
to have a clock 20 years is pretty good anyway.... they said they bought
it in London at a Prop shop.
Funny world if you ask me......
Buy something from me and Ill have entire Postal systems looking for the
package if they lose It...!!!
I asked for the name of the Director of the Austrailian postal system so
I could offer a Opinion on how they could improve..... 1st suggestion...
Deliver the damn package to the address on the customs FORM...!!!!...
