I thought the preview for Shutter Island looked dreadful. I hope the movie is better than it came off.
I would like to see Scorsese take on some more challenges, and go in new directions, as he did in The King of Comedy<http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085794/>, After Hours <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088680/>, The Last Temptation of Christ <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095497/>, The Age of Innocence<http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106226/>, and The Aviator <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338751/>, among others. I like these sorts of movies a lot, even the ones that didn't work so well. Shutter Island just seems so repetitive to things done before, both by Scorsese, and others.
