I heard Martin was Inspired by " The Magic BOx " made for the queens
jubbalee and had Richard attenborough and was about William Friese
Greene who was thought to have made major contributions to inventing
film also with Laprinze...
I had a Copy of Magic box on 16mm .. It was a great film ..... and my
son and I enjoyed it,,
Anyone in film should see it if you havnt
Scoreses is one of my favorite,,,, the new Film has receieved 4 starts
in the paper today.
Its the first film Ive wanted to go see in several years...
the topic doesnt get me... But the shots I saw on the trailers were a
visual Rollercoaster of imagery.
The editing and all where like a filmschool homage to every technique
adn craft of making film.

Wouldn't mind at all, tho it was only meant as a humorous aside, and I
fear he may have a few more pressing projects up his sleeve. I'm still
waiting in anticipation for his documentary on British film that he's
been working on with Ms Schoonmaker for xx years now. With that,
directing major new feature films, and restoring old ones, he's
certainly not a man who likes to sit still.
