yes the content seemed alittle stressfull.. and Kind of Comedy is good and so was after hours.... the diner
in that film is accross from the jaitts center in NYC and is cool....

so you are coreect However the art and craftsmanship in a Thriller seems apparent and seemed sculpted well for that genre.... I only saw a teaser clip trailer... However seems lke the story may have some twistes and turns

I thought the preview for Shutter Island looked dreadful. I hope the movie is better than it came off.

I would like to see Scorsese take on some more challenges, and go in new directions, as he did in The King of Comedy <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085794/>, After Hours <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088680/>, The Last Temptation of Christ <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095497/>, The Age of Innocence <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106226/>, and The Aviator <http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338751/>, among others. I like these sorts of movies a lot, even the ones that didn't work so well.

Shutter Island just seems so repetitive to things done before, both by Scorsese, and others.

Shutter Island does look good yes, can't wait to see it - The
Cinematography is by Robert Richardson, he also did Inglourious
Basterds, The Aviator, Kill Bill, Nixon, Casino, Natural Born
Killers, Platoon and a few others

The Film Editing is by Thelma Schoonmaker (As usual)
I'm not a big DiCaprio fan myself but I'm sure Scorsese will make
it work with his latest favourite pet.
