Most of the Studios will allow collector prints to be shown at repertory theatres, if they themselves don't have a print available as long as they are paid their leasing fees. Most except for Warner Bros. Warner Bros. is notorious for trying to confiscate collector prints, so I'm not surprised at all that the collector with the RS version doesn't want to lend it out for the screening. He might not get it back.
