Well, I do!

 

Not exactly a monster but perceived as one .. that old chestnut!  I find Edward 
Scissorhands quite beautiful and inevitably tearful. A more modern take ( but 
still 20 years old) on the Frankenstein story ...

 

Other tearful endings or near the ending that haven't been mentioned (i think)
