Murder by the Book was one of the best TV shows I ever saw! Of course I learned years later it was directed by Spielberg, and I thought THAT accounted for why it was so great, but it wasn't for many more years that I learned it was written by a young Steven Bochco, surely one of the absolute best TV writers ever.
