well. I honestly feel that although we deal in product(s), at the end of the
day this really is a service business and should be approached as such.

Hi Sean,

 

I picked up the "Dark Passage" title card and had a very nice conversation
on the phone with Pete last night.

 

When I paid the invoice there were 2 charges for shipping - which I assumed
was shipping plus a handling/processing fee.  After I paid - within 10
minutes - Pete called to say that there was a "bug" in the checkout logic
and he was reversing one of the charges.  

 

Bruce has mentioned many times on MOPO the importance of customer service
vs. the quick buck;  eMoviePoster has become a site that I not only check
every week but also recommend to my friends.

 

MoviePosterExchange is a well designed site with nice material....but when I
feel I can trust the people I'm dealing with...that engenders a type of
loyalty that lasts far beyond any one sale.

 

Great job Sean and all the best on the new site.

Now might be a good time to take advantage of our free listings and give us
a try.

I just did two interviews today with mainstream publications who look like
they are going to run stories about our site and the Metropolis 3-sheet.

If you'd like to get your poster out in front of eyes that don't usually
look at posters, this could be an excellent opportunity.

 

We've had several people sign up this past week and over 100 items have been
added to the site in that time, but obviously we would love to see a lot
more.

 

A few sales have happened and I see lots of people using the
offer/counter-offer system and trying to make deals.

I would also like to point out we have a Want List system for users, where
if you add titles/keywords to your want list, you will get an email letting
you know the minute someone lists something that matches it.

 

Peter and I have been very pleased with all the support we've received for
our new venture, so thanks to everyone who has been checking us out.
