I looked at his list & not only is he deceptive in one case I looked at he is outright lying.. well almost

Shutter PULP GIRLS WEIRD MENANCE ORIGINAL H J WARD COVER OIL 1940s comics
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shutter-PULP-GIRLS-WEIRD-MENANCE-ORIGINAL-H-J-WARD-COVER-OIL-1940s-comics-/330692747998?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cfed2e2de

the painting he is selling, which is not the immediate thumbnail, is by H.W. Scott, not H.J. Ward

from his listing:
Up for sale is The original cover oil painting for "Air Fighters" a world war 2 type pulp. This Oil painting I attripute to H J WARD but its not signed. I have put a signed H J WARD from the 1937and 1940s as up as a comparision . Its certainly looks to me like Wards style. However Ward style in the 1940s was a lot different then his 1930s work. Still I can't be certain its by ward, But I have attrubited it to him

the guy is a liar if he thinks the above statement is true that Ward's 40s style was diff than his 30s style as it was not.
I've sold a number of Ward paintings.. the guy is delusional.

of course, I believe the seller is Theo Holstein, who is as close to a thief as anyone could be and if you go to the CGC boards, you can search and find lots of stuff on him

Currently on EBay <http://www.ebay.com/itm/FLASH-GORDEN-VINTAGE-MOVIE-POSTER-100-ORIGINAL-/330711526856?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cfff16dc8>http://www.ebay.com/itm/FLASH-GORDEN-VINTAGE-MOVIE-POSTER-100-ORIGINAL-/330711526856?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cfff16dc8

there is a one sheet with photo from "Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe" described as (including spelling error):

FLASH GORDEN VINTAGE MOVIE POSTER 100% ORIGINAL

Very Rare nice orignla Gorden Movie poster from the 1930s comes with a Certificant of Authenicty to be All original

Putting aside the issue of this particular Flash Gordon serial being made in 1940, the poster itself is from a Universal International re-release from around 1947. This seller doesn't appear to do a lot of poster selling. While someone can charge whatever they want, having an $11,000 Buy It Now price would seem to warrant doing a little research, unless this level of accuracy represents full disclosure. There are several active poster sellers on EBay and elsewhere who will describe a poster as follows: "Original vintage poster from this 1937 John Wayne western" The poster in question is perhaps a 1952 re-release, but that information is not disclosed. Though the poster being sold is not a reproduction and none of the description is inaccurate, it certainly seems like a hugely deceptive practice.
