In earlier sold items he apologizes for shipping shown as $42 and let you know
it will only be $12.  Items sold in March sound like they come from a totally
different person than the one trying to sell high dollar items now.

Subject: Re: [MOPO] Poster description

I looked at his list & not only is he deceptive in one case I looked at he is
outright lying.. well almost

Shutter PULP GIRLS WEIRD MENANCE ORIGINAL H J WARD COVER OIL 1940s comics
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shutter-PULP-GIRLS-WEIRD-MENANCE-ORIGINAL-H-J-WARD-COVER-OIL-1940s-comics-/330692747998?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cfed2e2de

the painting he is selling, which is not the immediate thumbnail, is by H.W.
Scott, not H.J. Ward

from his listing:
Up for sale is The original  cover oil painting for "Air Fighters" a world war
2
type pulp. This   Oil painting  I attripute to H J WARD but its not signed.  I
have put a signed H J WARD from the 1937and 1940s as up as a comparision . Its
certainly looks to me like Wards style. However Ward style in the 1940s was a
lot different then his 1930s work. Still   I can't be certain its by ward, But
I
have attrubited it to him

the guy is a liar if he thinks the above statement is true that Ward's 40s
style
was diff than his 30s style as it was not.
I've sold a number of Ward paintings.. the guy is delusional.

of course, I believe the seller is Theo Holstein, who is as close to a thief as
anyone could be and if you go to the CGC boards, you can search and find lots
of
stuff on him
