Mopoers
Those of you who cannot make it this year really are missing one of the
best cinevents for a while. The material on show is excellent.
The company is wonderful...I have had such great fun getting together
with some of the best people I know inside and outside this business.
Unfortunately a few faces are missing...embarrassingly so...and they
remain the subject of much discussion and speculation...and great
ridicule. IfColumbus were a medieval town and those few people had
shown their faces it would have been straight to the stocks!
Yesterday from one of my dearest pals came the comedy event of the
weekend...it was tearful stuff. You had to have been there my sides
ached...the most politically uncorrected utterance of the decade!
Today is Morrie Everett's auction...all of us agree it is one of his
best for a wee while. Good luck to the bidders and of course to
Morrie...a lot of work went into this.
