These are printed on coated paper stock (not card stock) and have no Italian
printing credit on the reverse. "Printed in Italy" appears once, in very small
pink-on-pink type, on the title card only.

When I first saw them, "roadshow" was the first word that jumped to mind,
though I didn't know if they should be called oversized lobby cards, jumbo
stills or what.

I certainly like the sound of "deluxe roadshow lobby card set" rather than
"photobustas" or "jumbo stills." It seems more appropriate given that they were
presumably not intended for the Italian market.

I have had several of these over the years and just call them Deluxe Roadshow
lobby card sets. Patton is a pretty nice set. I have a set for Star(14 cards)
currently for auction on our site:
http://www.movieposterexchange.com/buy.php?mode=poster_details&auction_id=2443

Italy printing credit is on reverse. All the titles I have had have been
11x14 however. Haven't had the My Fair lady set.

These are roadshow oversized stills that were printed in Italy for U.S. and
International use. During the golden era of 70mm roadshow films, there

were several films that had these oversized stills. Another such film is
PATTON. They normally would come in a paper

envelope. I associate the word "rotogravure" with them for some reason.
MovieArt has several but not all of the MY FAIR LADY

  stills:

The MY FAIR LADY stills are printed rather more cheaply than some of the
other ones I've seen, which can be quite deluxe.

I hesitate to rattle off the titles because I'm not sure about specifically
which movies - but if you range through the 70mm roadshows

of that era - big budget pictures - you have the short list.

  Hey, Paul:

Yes! I had seen Bruce's listing but he only sold one scene card and there is
no indication of country of origin on the scene cards so he had it listed as a
"jumbo still."

But I hadn't seen the Heritage listing AND (D'oh!) I completely missed the
tiny "Printed in Italy" that appears pink-on-pink in the top left corner. Odd,
because the text on the title card is completely in English. I suppose this set
was meant to be used in countries other than Italy.

So what I have is a complete (plus one) Italian photobusta set.

  Thanks for the help.

    Dave,

    Are they these?

Although printed in Italy, similar sorts of sets seem to have been used in
the US and internationally.

Just got in a batch of My Fair Lady jumbo stills, measuring 12 3/4 x 16.
The title still/card is in English (the others have no text on them) and they
appear to be original release but have no year indicated or NSS info.

Anybody know anything about these? I have 11 altogether and one is a
duplicate. What size would a full set be? 10? 12? More?

      Appreciate any help.

      Thanks,
