I second all of that.

I awaited the arrival of MCW with feverish excitement, and paid to have it
express shipped over to the UK, which proved to be faster than the speed
with which it got to some in the US (though Sam was always faster!). Like
Paul, I bought a fax machine specifically for it.

I don¹t think it¹s just nostalgia to feel that those days were very special,
and like Tom, to feel that things aren¹t quite as fun any more. I always
feel privileged to have experienced, in however small a way, the thrill of
the last days of road trips and airmail in the search for vintage treasures.
