USPS also has large Priority boxes that can be ordered online. Believe
me, you can fit a ton of posters in them and a package that would cost $35 to
mail from L.A. to Florida only costs about fifteen bucks. It's a really
great deal....

thanks Lumi

shipping costs keep going up, as does the cost of boxes and flat
cardboard, tubes, plastic bags, labels... everything we need to operate.
every time something goes up, I have to absorb some loss, be it the direct
costs of the materials or the indirect costs of a bidder bidding $1 less
because I just had to raise expenses $1. That's a loss to me. I don't get to
keep the dollar, it goes to the cardboard or shipping or whatever.

I already am prepared for when I believe shipping costs may actually
damage the value of online sales, which I predict will happen sometime in 2014.
I think that in 2013 I will have to increase shipping costs and the same
in 2014 at which point I think it will be $3 more than it is currently for
the first unit.
Shipping a 4lb package to NYC from Vegas I think will cost North of
$22-$25 and to those who want to say "go with UPS or Fed-X".. you folks
haven't
compared the rates. USPS is the least expensive carrier and for good reason.
If we lose the USPS, mail order sellers may as well shut down

there is no longer any inexpensive way to ship anything, especially
internationally

shipping costs are the #1 enemy to mail order business

I am talking about a BOOK, a 3 pound paper back book.

Not much value in that.

I am looking for an inexpensive way to ship it.

Thank you all.

item is worth $400 or more I spring for the extra for Express.
