The home of Mondo, is, I believe, right here in Austin.

When these folks came on the scene, I thought I’d buy some directly as they
came out and see how they would go.

I got a very RUDE reception from one of the honchos over there, who told me, in
effect, that they would not knowingly sell to dealers. This kid - and he was a
kid - was really quite haughty. That was at least 6-8 years ago.

After that, I mostly ignored them, although I did buy a THE GOOD, THE BAD AND
THE UGLY from Bruce H. — and handily re-sold it.

But I didn’t understand the attitude of the “main guy” over there.

Anyway, life is too short to deal with that. They have been quite successful,
however, so good for them. They identified a market and they exploited it.
