The Donald has long been pushing the idea to privatize USPS for a long time.

Deutsche Post DHL have been privatized several years ago. Ever since, the costs
are constantly rising and their service is constantly declining.

A few years ago, Deutsche Post sold my local post office building to a private
investor. First chance they had, the investors kicked the post office out and
turned the building into a start-up location. I lost my PO Box and now I have
to deliver my mail at a tobacco shop.

One of the local mail pickup places even made the news before Christmas: DHL
Parcel Post drivers frequently deliver lots of packages to this shop. People
would have to wait in line for over an hour, only to be turned down and to
learn that the guys who run the shop would require at least three days to sort
through their packages. On Saturdays, they are closing at 4 pm. At 4 pm sharp,
they kicked everybody out of the shop and threatened to call the police if
people should refuse to leave.

If you think that your local post office is bad now, wait and see what happens
when The Donald gets his way...
