Heritage allows you to go into the auction archives and make offers on any item that has sold previously. They will email the owner and let them know a offer has been made for XX . Heritage will handle the transaction for a 10% fee.
So I get from time to time offers on the items I have purchased. I have sold some stuff and not sold others. I have tried to buy some items. As a buyer you can opt out of this. You can also set a price instead of taking offers. So that’s what is going on with that. As always, I find it fascinating to watch these live auctions…… And from the looks of it, it was quite a successful auction. But I pulled up the auction today and there are numerous, maybe even the majority of items, that did not meet their reserve price. At least that’s how I interpreted The information posted. It would say the item sold for, and have an amount, but then have a orange or green box below that says make the seller an offer higher than, and then it would have a price several thousand dollars more than the amount that it allegedly sold for.
