From what I saw, people didn't seem to be holding onto their cash. Casablanca material was incredible, esp. the $384,000 for the six-sheet, which has come up a few times - but never fetching that price. (I remember Rudy Franchi showcasing a poster in that format at a pre-sale preview in L.A. for Christie's 20 years ago.) I also saw wild prices for Star Wars material - while someone got lucky getting a nice condition Gilda style B on linen for "just" $24K. - d.
