ebay‘s international shipping program is a major improvement. When they started out with Pitney Bowes, they charged Import VAT, but there was no reason to reclaim that as a business seller. And God knows where those funds went... I have a strong feeling that the German government never saw a cent of it.
With the new system, the VAT is explicitly stated in the ebay invoice, so I can reclaim it.
