I believe it will just get worse. The Musk Department of Efficiency has showed no interest in getting things to work better in the government, they are simply laying off thousands of government workers wherever they turn. And Elon has put new people in charge who are not knowledgeable and have little-to-no experience in the areas to which they have been assigned. I would love to be proved wrong, but I do not see things getting better in the USPS... just worse.
