> No. SOM is awareness of subject and object.

It's what a novel can do. It's what poetry can
do. I've been explaining this to Ham for some time
now. It's what this world is left alone, unto itself,
and yet, we can speak about it or hint to it.
If I read a philosophy that is SOM, then I'm
reading exclusives. I'm reading about this is a
subject here, and an object is over there. Here's a
subject and that's an object. NO storyline. NO
real-life picture.
What also needs to be kept in mind is how many
different kinds of philosophies have sprouted around
the world. What is philosophy in one persons eyes
leads that person to come up with a certain
philosophy. Thus, another person may define what
philosophy is and then that leads to another
philosophy.
I view philosophy to be the tool that defines
what life is. Then I look around me and notice trees
and I feel my heart, and I know these are attributes
of what life is. Philosophy for me, takes into
account these events. When I think, and the whole
process of thinking occurs, when then I believe a
philosophy should account for this as well. Thus,
life to me is the movement of leaves while the wind
blows. These are events in life. This IS what life
is all about.

cool morning,
